Razr v3 (Cingular) And Pocket PC
And yes, that scared the shit out of me after I’ve upgraded that data plan to unlimited for $19.99 a month, though my company is paying for it.
Anyway, here it is:
When you are setting up your pocket pc, you have tons of different options to choose from.. let me show you what was working for me at the begining for the data plan upgrade:
Phone No. to dial: *99#
username: isp@cingulargprs.com
Password: CINGULAR1
And of coures that didnt work after I upgraded my plan, where I had to reset (on and off) my phone itself for it connect to internet even…
And now the new connection is:

–Leave username and password blank, i mean it!

[/code]
Go to “Advanced”, I didnt touch the Baud rate, you can experiement with that…
but I added dial-string modem command, and it is:
[code]+cgdcont=1,â€IPâ€, “wap.cingular†[/code]

The above doesnt work all the time, it just went down on me… I tried the other way and it worked.. here it is:

username: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.NET
password: CINGULAR1

that is all, no need for extra string at all.
