iTunes launching online video rental…. sounds good to me!
According to Financial Times & cnn.com/money, Apple is believed to be working on launching a new service on the iTunes sometime this fall. And yes, the service is online video rental and it will cost $2.99 per movie and it will last you 30 days..
I am pretty sure many people out there are happy to hear that, including me since that will give me a better reason of why I bought the Apple TV.
I am predicting the take off of the new iTunes service won’t be as easy or smooth since Netflix and Amazon have already taken a good bite of the market, and not to mention both Netflix and Amazon offers are better than Apple’s one "though, nothing is confirmed yet about pricing". Example, with Netflix, You can rent as many movies you want "from way larger database" in a month for $17 dollars..and oh, including downloading any movie up to 15 hours a month…. Now, that sounds better deal to me than the Apple one..
Let’s just wait and see what Apple will do… they have been surprisingly us a lot lately…
