I am all google now! unforunate!

I’ve never imagined that I will be that much hooked into google like how I am right now. It all started when John gave me a gmail account.

Now I use google for many things, obviously the search engine and customized google page and so on.

But anyway, here is the unfortunate part though:

I feel like I am being forced on choosing only google tools over other tools from converting to blogspot and from del.ic.ous to google bookmark tool.

For example, I am falling in love with google’s RSS reader, but I am getting to hate the part that you can only post a blog to blogspot and not any other blogs.

So, when I think of microsoft monopoly today.. I think of google’s 5 years plan right now. It seems, google is going to acquire all web services or web users loyalty. Forcing its web users to only use its technology and its tools. Oh god, I wonder how things will be when they have office tools set “Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc”. I know they already have spreadsheets and calendar, which I am both getting addicted to as well.

So overall, kiss goodbye to microsoft as well as paypal or whatever. I see my loyalty being stolen to google’s empire.

But hey, microsoft could turn out to be my life savior. But I know they are working on “live.com”, which I yuckly hate so far. I find netvibes doing better job, I even find it better than google’s customized page, but unfortunately they are not part of the “G” empire that way I cannot use other “G” services with it.

Oh well, lets wait and see. That was my two cents of what I think where I am going with google.
