Google partners with Go Daddy/eNom, incorporates Google Apps for Your Domain
As much as I dislike GoDaddy helpdesk / service, here they are teaming up with Google to offer this offer that is focused on noobies…Which is more of a site that can be created with google pagemaker. This will be a big hit, soon to be! But here is the details of the partnership:
Google has announced a partnership with domain name registrars Go Daddy and eNom designed to distribute Google Apps for Your Domain by offering domain registrations from these companies for $10/year.
If you own your own web space, you may have heard of Google Apps for Your Domain before. Basically, you get all the great Google apps (like Gmail, Gcal, GTalk, etc.) packaged into your personal domain. The partnerships with Go Daddy and eNom are designed to make it trivial to get a web space set up with Google Apps. Just go to the Google Apps homepage, sign in with your Google account, and register your domain. For more details, check out their help page. — Adam Pash
