Certification and BrainDump Questions

To be honest, I feel to a certain degree dishonest whenever I go do a certification exam and knowing that I’ve seen the questions before.

This is my story, I have been studying for my exam for a solid of more than 4 months, and of course any student before they go for the exam they practice few questions. And here where the problem occurs:

With googling topic you want on, you will often encounter web-users sharing questions they had on their exams pretending that they are doing it for a good cause. In fact, it is harming all IT professionals and their credibility.

Knowing or not of someone calling themselves IT certified where all he had to do is just google and memorize the answers makes me feel sick to my stomach.

When I interview candidates with certifications for jobs, I often ask them not technical questions but more of the reasons why they have certified in that field or the difference between, for example, Cisco, Juniper, and 3COM.. With that simple question, many of them tend to crack.

But anyway, I am just frustrated because they do ruin the reputation of what an IT professional is, that is all.

My quick thought.
